It is with sadness the Ali/Puttick family announces the passing of Emile Joshua Zayd Puttick, a third-year Management and Organizational Studies student, on Monday, Oct. 20.

Emile was the son of Dr. Fazia Ali and Dr. Michael Puttick (deceased). He will be missed by his sister, Miriam Puttick, and her husband, Ridwan Mohammed; and his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Emile will be fondly remembered as a kind, caring, gentle and compassionate person who had a great sense of humor.

On Tuesday, Western will lower the flag on University College in Emile’s honour.

Western reminds its campus community that counselling services are always available to assist faculty, students and staff. Visit the Health and Wellness website for help today.
